Our home has HISTORY.
House of Dance lives at 62 East 4th Street, home of the Rod Rodgers Dance Company and generations of New York dancers.
HoD
Founded during the cultural upheaval of the 1960s, Rod Rodgers built his company around a belief in dance as a way to explore identity, human experience and community. For decades, these studios have been a place where artists have trained, rehearsed, taught, experimented — and where neighborhood families have sent their children to dance.
Franklin has been part of this building's life for decades.
House of Dance isn't simply renting a studio here. We're growing from a place that already carries generations of movement, memory and New York dance history. Find us on the 5th floor .
